OUTLAW time

As many of you already know we have moved to a new bell schedule.  This does not affect the time that students are in or out of class but allows us to have a dedicated time to do RTI.
Response to Intervention allows teachers to do some specific targeted teaching to the students that need it when they need it.  Not when a year or two has gone by and the gaps have widened.  So before lunch each day I will sit down with the kids who need it (pretesting has been done to see who needs help where).  We are currently working on recognizing alphabet letters.  Most of us still need to work on this area.  I will retest at the end of next week and hopefully release some more to work on extension actiivities. That means that lunch will start at 1158 so please keep this in mind if you are picking kids up early as I feel that this time is golden to do some really specific targeted teaching that will enhance the learning for all.   I am excited to see where this will go and if you have any questions please feel free to contact me.

New word to get a chance to win for your child is amazing.  Please place this in the agenda for next day to receive the chance.
